Holiday Ice is a kind of ice found on the Gourmet World's Tropica Holiday Island.
Description[]
Holiday Ice is like the clearest water, and forms beautiful, fractal-like crystals. Its smoothness is unparalleled and its overall beauty is hypnotizing.
Existing on an island like Tropica Holiday Island, it is capable of withstanding its incredible temperatures without melting at all. Even putting it over direct fire will not melt it.
The ice's hardness can hardly be matched by anything from the Human World. Its freezing properties are so extreme, that it violently forms large ice crystals out of any water in its surroundings, meaning that unless one's body possesses strong and durable cells, it could succumb to gangrene just by being close to the ice.
Capture Method[]
In order to be picked and obtained, extreme precision is required to seperate the crystals at special weak spots. This requires both Food Honor and either understanding of the crystallic structure, or the Voice of Ingredients, or Gourmet Luck.
In special spots, known as "collapsing intersections", a single stab with special Holiday Ice Pick (a tool specially manufactured for this kind of ice) will break the structure into small cubes, which then can be easily held without any harm, and can be used to cool down anything, lasting for incredible amounts of time.
