Slugterfly (ナメク蝶 Namekuchō) is a slug butterfly-like beast living in the jungles surrounding the North-East Safe Zone of the Ruum Continent.
Anatomy[]
Slugterfly resembles a large snail with very large optical tentacles and three pairs of large, amoeba-like wings.
Powers and Abilities[]
Despite their size, they can fly at great speeds and their amoeba-like wings have special properties that allow them to resist Ruum Continent's powerful winds.
Their large eyes also give them almost perfect field of vision.
As Food[]
Slugterfly is a Special Preparation Ingredient.
They have to be killed without them seeing the predator, otherwise they become tough, almost tasteless, and their wings turn into powerful emetic.
Also, if they are killed the right way, their wings require very precise and careful handling, or they could break apart and dissolve.
By very carefully cutting the wings off and placing them in bowl, they can, by very careful and gentle stirring, be seperated into a butter-like liquid, that can be used in baking, as oil and even as flavor strengthener, and into green, very sweet dense slime, that resembles egg yolk, and can be added into any sweet dish to enhance and complete balance and harmony of any dessert's taste.
